Equipment: Edirol R-09HR (24/48) + SP-CMC-8 (Baseball Cap Mounted). Lineage: USB transfer to PC -> Mastering by Demolition -> Adobe Audition CC (dithering to 16/44) -> CD Wave (track splitting) -> TLH (FLAC 8, aligned on sector boundaries).
When it comes to taping such all-time fav bands as Slayer it’s always great to get an absolutely great result out of it. And although it was ‘polished’ by fellow DIMEr Demolition, the original sound and the equipment made this probably one of the best recordings I’ve ever done. The only downside of it is that it became a little boomy due to original venue sound, other than that it’s clear, almost no singers/screamers nearby, Tom sounds like it’s a SBD recording (especially when he talks in-between tracks).
And… HAIL SLAYERRRRR!!!
