Disclaimer: the show originally was shared on youtube, I ripped audio from it. So, if you a lossless perfectionist, this may be regarded as lossy. I just don't care.
The story is as follows. While looking for unsurfaced or just shows I didn’t have I have stumbled upon the vid where you can barely see anything (very generated etc) named St. Loius 86. Then someone commented to it stating it was uptown, Kansas 1986. I had neither of these, so I decided to check. The band did not play in St. Loius in 1986. Although it was quite hard to decipher what Dave was talking about, there were several things that showed the date was correct. Before Peace Sells Dave talks about signing to Capitol, which happened in 1986. And in general, the band performed Peace for the first time in December 1985. Before Mechanix Dave cheers crowd for 'our first time here', but they played Kansas City already in 1985. One the other hand we all know that Dave was heavily influenced by various substances those days, and also musicians while heavy touring tend to forget where they happened to be. Before Black Friday Dave mentions that it was actually Friday. We all know he liked to state that at any day of the week, but October 24 is indeed Friday. There’s a setlist for that date @ setlist.fm and it is quite different from what we have on the tape. But there are evident cuts in-between tracks on the recording, so there could have been tracks cut out. On the other hands we are aware that setlist.fm have mistakes. So all-in-all this is a very cool addition to my list, although it’s quite hard to listen. If you have any updates to this info, please contact me
