Taper: Mark Martin. Transfer: Shayne S. Lineage: Panasonic consumer recorder > master / 1 gen tape > Nakamichi Dragon DR8 and EMU1212M audio card > wav > youtube > wav > Adobe Audition (mastering) > Goldwave > TLH FLAC. Shayne's comments: This show sounds pretty good for non-professional equipment, but there are some cuts early on as on the tape. My comments: This is one the shows I was shocked to stumble upon in 2025. The quality of this one is great! It’s a HUGE upgrade to any other source of this notorious gig that had surfaced so far. And moreover it is complete featuring Rattlehead and full Wake Up Dead. If not for many dropouts throughout the recording I could easily give this recording A-. For a 40 year old gig for sure. I spent quite some time to kill the drops. It sounds there was something wrong with the microphone, cause even though the sound was dropping one could still hear the band playing, so I was boosting those parts back. As I said before the show originally was shared on youtube, I ripped audio. So if you a lossless perfectionist this maybe regarded as lossy. I just don't care. Once again, you can easily throw away all previous sources of this gig. Enormous gratitude to Shayne for sharing this and other gems at his channel.
Some general information - Metallica, Megadeth, Metal Church, and Exodus were on the bill that night. This was the first (?) time Dave shared stage with his former bandmates.
