Editor notes: I got this complete audio source as an .mp3 from a friend of the taper shortly after the show in 2014. Recently I found this file on my external HDD and decided to give it an upgrade. This audio source is still unreleased to the Bootleg Community after all the years. After I rediscovered it, I first contacted the guy I got it from to see if I could get a lossless version, but he told me the taper didn’t have the original files anymore. The taper also didn’t want his name out or give information about the equipment used to record. Thus I had to work with the .mp3 file and present it as a lossy source to you. I’ve loaded the file into GarageBand and used the Master Equalizing to bring out the band from the crowd noise, then I used the Master Limiting option to bring up the volume with 6dB. Lastly I cut the original file to remove excess banter (someone talking about his neck operation…) before the start of the Prince Of Darkness tape. Then I split the file into the separate songs and saved them as 192 kBit/s .mp3 files to share with you all. I’ve put the original .mp3 file in a separate folder for those who want to have and and/or so you can (hopefully) hear the improvement. Enjoy!
My comments: What can I say Yverish did absolutely great job mastering this. The tape sounds close, clear, BUT there are many shouters/talkers @ the taper and they cannot be deleted from the recording evidently. Anyways, it's fabulous to get a tape from a Dutch festival. If it were lossless it could have been a great item to have but for me the sound is what matters.
