Taper: Matt Walsh, Mastered by Sim (Smores), rig: Zoom H1 w/internal mics. Smores comments: "This show is from the collection of Matt W. who was kind enough to lend some of his masters to be shared. These files were provided to me by the taper to work on. There are a couple of things I want to point out. The taper did pause the recorder breifly between songs as a way to track the show "on the fly". Since he was not doing it to conserve media, no music or banter is compromised. In some cases I did try to smooth the transitions in Adobe Audition. Also, the taper exits the show during Holy Wars causing the end of the song to be missed. According to setlists for this show no further songs were missed."
Very good setlist including quite rare performance of Rattlehead (first time played in USA in 2013). Quality is ok, B to my ears, quite distant, boomy, you can barely hear Dave when he is talking inbetween songs. But on the other hand, it's always great to get a TX recording. I dunno why but texans never taped megadeth that much throughout the years. Thanks to Matt for taping this one and thanks to Sim for kindly share it with me!
